A Witch’s Day Off

I have had so much fun this month posting every single day! It’s been 4 weeks straight, and it’s taken a lot of writing hours to pull it off. It’s something I’ve had an absolute blast doing, and can’t wait to continue…tomorrow!

Today’s magickal moment is going to be taking a day off to enjoy my family instead of staring at a computer screen! They’ve been so supportive of my mission, but I miss them and I need to listen to my heart when it tells me it’s time to take a break.

My advice to anyone reading today is to take time for yourself. Enjoy a walk in nature, read a good book, go peruse a thrift store, window shop at the mall, or make a great meal. Call a friend you haven’t spoke to in a while, or make a craft that’s been on your list for a hot minute! Do something that makes you feel those tiny little butterflies in the pit of your stomach when you realize that you love your life.

This afternoon I’ll be drawing the names for the free reads posted on The Spiritual Garden’s Facebook page (check it out here to keep in touch with me when I’m not blogging!)- but after that, we’ll probably drive out of town to do some windowshopping and enjoy the brisk air. The most important part of today will be the moments I’m making wonderful memories with my family and recharging my energy.

So, I apologize for the short post today- but remember, magick isn’t just spell work, rituals, herbs, crystals, tarot, or crafts; it’s moments that fill you to the brim with happiness, it’s laughter that can’t be contained, and it’s memories that will forever bring you a smile (even long after they fade).

Our lives lived is magick, and today, I plan to live mine to the absolute fullest.

Until tomorrow, my friends…
